cd not recognized

i bought this game a while ago but then it got scratched so my friend burned me a new copy and now it wont read. i have it installed still from the original but the play cd just isnt recognizable. any suggestions? i tried some already posted but i dont think they apply cause i have this burned copy now. if this offends anyone im sorry but i paid for it once, twice would be crazy. thanks, jay

Contact Firaxis. Maybe they have a disk replacement program. Some companies are willing to do that.
