CFC Hall of Fame site status

Hello, I noted in another thread that Spoonwood had submitted a game for testing purposes and your reply (@Noble Zarkon) indicated that the game parser was not yet available. And then I saw that GOTM is back online but seems to be missing the game parser there as well. I was wondering if that was the same game parser?

In any case, once that is available I have some games that I would be happy to submit for testing, including some that might be non-conforming to HOF rules and a few that would pass the conformity tests but are probably too slow to chart. Please let me (and the community) know if such submissions would be helpful and when.

As always, thank you for your work on the HOF.

I wanted to see the top 10 scores posted in the HOF for say these game conditions: Sid/Huge/Histographic
At the moment you can only see the best record for each condition, top 10 will come later - probably over the Christmas / New Year break.

Hi, are only the number 1 in each category been transferred? We had a "top 10" table, and it looks like the #1's are all that's left.
All records have been transferred but at the moment you can only see the best record for each condition, top 10 will come later - probably over the Christmas / New Year break.

Thank you! Good to know they haven't been lost by.. not standing the test of time and failing to mature into a full grown civilization ;)

Happy Holidays to Noble Zarkon and everyone else!

Please keep us posted on any Civ 5 HoF developments.
Appreciate all the work you have put in.
Thanks!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who is helping restore the Hall of Fame...
In the previous version of the Hall of Fame, when you entered a game, you could see:

1) Who were the opponents on the map?
2) It was possible to study in detail, without loading a save, which technologies and religions a player had researched in what order. Which cities were founded in what year. Which Civics were set and when
3) It was possible to download the winning player's save file.

All of this is currently missing. I'd like to know whether it will be possible to view all of this data, either short-term or long-term (similar to the previous Hall of Fame).

Or is this data irretrievably lost, and will it only be possible to see the year a player won?

With respect to the civ III HoF, I use to very much enjoy viewing other people's saves, and have wanted to do so lately. Hopefully this comes back, though I don't know about the status of these old saves if they exist somewhere or not. I also enjoyed the top 10 tables for each victory condition.

@Noble Zarkon: What say you?

Apologies for the delay in replying, all the data is safe and will be restored in due course. Unfortunately my professional life has been very busy since the holidays but I hope to get everything sorted for all 3 sites (III, IV and V) by the end of February.
