Lots of people find Marathon too slow but as this is a One City Challenge on a Small map the game should run along fairly quickly.

Ramesses has nice traits for an OCC -

Spiritual:
Spiritual is a great trait for OCC because it allows you to constantly tune your civics to maximize whatever it is your city is doing at that moment. It also gives you a lot of diplomatic flexibility, since you can swap civics and religion to gain quick relations boosts.

Industrious:
Without any settlers to build, and no extra cities to garrison you'll find yourself building wonders quite frequently, as well as 5 National Wonders. The +50% Hammer boost to wonder production allows you to more easily grab key wonders, and over the long term frees up quite a few hammers that can go into either units, infrastructure, or even raw gold/research.

Apart from Brennus, who is there for everyone to hate!, the other Civs have good favourite civics and/or positive attitude adjustors to the human player.

Should have said - credit for this idea goes to @Dhoomstriker :-

An OCC Diplomatic Victory with Permanent Alliances enabled could make for a fun game to play against a not-too-challenging-to-beat record, for example, with some thought put into the opponent Leaders that could allow for some relatively-easy bribing situations in order to get the needed 40 years of Mutual Military Struggle for a Permanent Alliance (ignoring the 40 years of Defensive Pact option as being less feasible for a Diplo Victory game).

Submitted 1428!

I had another good game going but forgot to tick 'no vassals', which screwed up the final vote. Oh well. Practice game. Everyone dogpiled on Brennus, finished him off, then happily tech traded into PAs. You cannot let this happen!

So to win a quick game, you must be in a politically fractured world. My winning game had 4 active state religions, border wars and a variety of worst enemies. I froze tech trading at Paper as to not let rivals get close to PA techs. Sorry, tech beggars (Zara)!

Sharing a border with Brennus meant keeping him shielded from other players but getting my land repeatedly pillaged. I usually play dilplo with a small army. Brennus convinced his buddy Qin Shi Huang to attack me for a small wave. This was my first peacemonger diplo game with two great generals.

For additional leaders, I went with Mansa (tech trader, good unique civic), Wang Kon (no DOW at pleased, good unique civic) and Joao (no DOW at pleased, good unique civic). No Pericles because rivals with Representation are too close to PA techs. Wang Kon was not running Caste System by endgame. If I were to do it again, I would pick low-peace weight tech traders and let Hatshepsut be the punching bag.

Had a nice game with 725AD, could do better thou ~~
Some cottages did not even reach town status until the very end, i am thinking full specialists with tons of food would be better here.
Almost all techs could be bulbed (Physics, Electricity too).

In my game Mansa is just a joke. Have to selftech meditation and priesthood for oracle. Perhaps a bad idea to remove a leader with mysticism (Gandhi) for Peter who is hired to be my henchman.
