I'm, not a modder myself, but I'd love to have some change the appearance of the units in a city..clearly Firaxis thought of something(units are grouped by unit-type) but if you have around, lets say 30units, and you click right-mouse-button on that city, it'll show you the 30units, though only scrollable..for me, to get a big picture of the city, of course i can count the numbers to overlook it, but im lazy to do that. I'd rather see the different unit-types listet next to each other, units of the same type over each other..so you get more like a matrix-view of the units inside that city..that way it's much easier , at least for my brains, and less to scroll...can anyone think about how to mod the xml's to change the view of the game?
maybe others think too that my idea would be better then the momentarily compiled view of units..and we could ask firaxis change it in an upcoming patch, or maybe to tell them, to include such things in the MOD-editor they bring out by the beginning of 2006. I'd also like to get the "click-right-mouse-button of civ3 back in the game" I got used to right clicking a city to easily change it's production queue..well now i first have to enter a city..it's not realy a improvement going from 1 click to "2clicks and a [enter]" to get the samen thing done..but maybe some of you know how to edit kind of these things myself?
