[GS] Change number and size or lakes?

Could someone tell me how to change the size and number of lakes for the map generator? I found RiversLakes.lua but I can't figure out how it works. I'm trying to create fewer but larger bodies of water on the Pangea map.

This was easy to do in CivV but 6 seems a lot more complicated.
