Changing connection timeout in multiplayer (LAN) games?

Hi folks,

I am currently playing civ 5 G&K in LAN mode: Large Map, 5 teams of two players, 1 team is human, the other teams are AI. We play on deity on a pangäa map. This means, the map is very crowded eventually - and the AI has to calculate a lot of data.

Eventually this leads to a loss of connection when the AI-turn is calculated. The Client system says, that it has lost the connection and the AI will take over. A short time later, the host also realizes the connection loss.

I guess, this is due to a connection timeout problem. When the host calculates the turn for the AI, it doesn't respond to the client requests anymore. After the set timeout, the client think that the server has died and shows the connection loss message.

So I wanted to raise the time the client will wait for a response from the server, but I did not found any settings for the connection timeout value. Have you any idea how to change the timeout value? If it's not possible via configuration .... maybe with a mod?
