The unit icons are stored in a file called
units_32.pcx. It is stored in your /Civilization III/Conquests/Art/Units folder. From there you can see a list of icons, and if you wish, add to them. However, if you are making a scenario rather than editing the main Conquest file, I'll give you some pointers:
-Go in the editor, go to Scenario -> Custom Rules, yes to the warning, and go to Rules -> Edit Rules. The Rules Editor will open.
-Navigate to the units tab. You'll see an input box with up and down arrows. For the number 1, it will display the settler's 'icon'. #2 is worker, #3 is warrior, and so on and so forth.
-For the unit's icon you wish to edit, find that unit, and change it's icon #. Exit out of the rules editor, and go to File -> Save As. Save your scenario in the /Conquests/Scenarios/ folder, and when you load up Conquests, select it from the list of "Civ-Content" scenarios.
This should work, if for any reason it doesn't, or you are having problems, don't hesitate to post.
