can you turn it off? had a guy pretty much deceive me, acted as tho we were friends and i could've of rushed him and won. but held off and he rushes me with another player.

he healed his troops in my land, and i was like thats cool man. he scouted around my spot and i was like cool man. i asked him if he was ready to rush this other player he said naw man. so i held back getting troops, then he attacks me. i'm like WTH, why attack me i just asked if you wanted to rush someone. hint hint im your friend.

new motto: no truss must rush

game gave me a migraine, maybe this game isn't for me.

well.. you can hide the chat, not disable it. if you cklick on the "microphone" button below the chat window you hide it. But that only means that you wont be able to see what people write.

A solution to your peoblem is this. If you play an open free for all game this happens. Dont trust anyone.

If you dont want to risk this play a league game, you can find some info about civ5 multiplayer league in my signature.

We play free for all called cTON where no alliances, diplomacy is allowed between players. You are not allowed to talk about stuff in the game either that could give a hint to other players how to act.

We also set up a wide range of games like 2vs2 and 3vs3 where teams are decided before starting. That way you do trade with players and coordinate stuff but it s fair since everyone knows whos with who.

We also play duels etc.

thanks KM, i think it just upset me more than anything. even though it's a game there are real people playing with real emotions.
