Chatting while playing PTW ?

Hi can anybody help me....
Anytime i play PTW i can only chat with other players by going in under negotiation (diplomacy) ? - I know that in manual it says press ¨ but it doesnt seem to help...

To chat, you press the ~ key. This will open single line chat box.

Its the tilde key. Seeing that you live in Denmark and i have no clue what the ¨ key is, I'm not sure if I can help. Yes, Quasimodo, is right, the tilde key is the ~ key (right next to the number 1). Press that and it should work...
