Chopping output

Whats the formula behind forest chopping?
I have noticed in the early game its about 20 hammers, and 200 in the late

Not sure about the exact amount, but I always find chopping woods to be extremely good, especially to get districts down much earlier. I've often been doing stuff, like selling a builder at 1 charge left > buying a new woods tile > buying a new worker and chopping, while also getting the new charges to use.

It apparently is similar to districts...the cost increases with technology.(exact formulas still being worked out)
