It's rare for me to play against AI China, but I just noticed the AI rarely uses the Chu-ko-nu's double fire ability when defending. Actually I didn't see it use it at all when I attacked.

Anyone else notice this?

Sometimes the AI doesn't fire with ranged units that are within striking distance. I'm not surprised at all.

They'd only use double attack if they were already on a tile and safe from danger and can shoot from the first turn, I think. In other words, if they're one tile away from range to attack an enemy (but on a road tile, and won't cost them one movement to go and shoot twice), they won't do it.

In any event the most often they use double attack would be already garrisoned in a city.

Every once in awhile, I swear the AI forgets to use their cities' bombardment too.

Smooth move, Theodora. You had one city, and no military surrounded by my horsemen and catapults. And you forgot.
