I recently wanted to try out the beta 4.29 version of this mod (I had been playing 4.0 with no issues), and I ran into a strange and fatal bug inside the city display. When I founded my first city, the interface looked like this inside:

A lot of stuff is odd here, but most notably the production que is filled with settler images and the food/production/gold displays on the top left are all borked. Im unable to change the production of the city away from the buggy settler image, and when I right clicked it I even got the civilopedia for scouts!

Outside the city:

Things look normal at first glance, but the production half circle in the city banner has a strange worker-like creature in a black space, and when I mouse over it I get a small black oval popup.

In this state the game thinks I have no production selected, and doesn't even allow me to advance to the next turn after building a city.

I cleared the MODS folder aside from this mod and the cache before running the mod, and after a few repeated tries always got the same result. In addition, I tried clearing the cache and going back to 4.0 again, and that still works fine as always, so its definitely something different between now and then. Good luck figuring this out if you can, but great work on your mod so far either way.

Redownload. I had this same issue last night and when I came back here to report it I saw it was already update to 4.30 and this bug was fixed.

It's worth noting though, that I ran into this again with 4.30, when I reloaded from an auto-save. I then shut down the game, started it back up, and it loaded just fine.

Redownloaded, now using 4.30, and the weirdness is gone. May the worker-like eldritch abominations be contained in the dungeon dimensions forevermore!

Sometimes bugs like that happen because I forgot to move a file properly, or there's an error somewhere causing the file to simply not load at all. Basically, parts of the game just don't get loaded.

I usually catch these things right away and release an update, but it's always a good idea to report issues you find, just in case I haven't seen it yet. Thank you! :goodjob:
