I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this. I've been playing Civilization on the Civilization Chronicles set. I like the improved graphics although the music is poor when compared to the original. The AI also seems to behave differently and there are a lot more barbarians raiding parties and such then I ever saw on the original game. (My original game may have issues though since it doesn't have the "question" feature that makes sure that you have the manual so somehow it's been hacked. I got it for free from a friend). That stuff doesn't bother. What does bother me is an obvious bug. If I save the game at any point and then if I go back to my save file it acts as if none of my armies have moved and I can move them all over again. So basically if I am playing on Earth, using this cheat I could move an army from Spain to China in one move. To prove that this was happening I even turned on the "end of turn" option. I played to the end of the turn and then saved. I loaded the file. All of my armies are still in the places that they were at teh end of the turn but I am able to move all of them again and the year is still the same year.
So basically my questions are, is this a known bug and if so is there a patch for it? So far the only way that I can fix it is by always saving at the beginning of the turn but sometimes this still cheats because the settlers sometimes make their improvements at the beginning of a turn before I have the option to save.
Any thoughts?
