Civ 2 micromanagement compared

Hello guys, Ive this simple question that its been following me for the last week. I want to go back to old Civs, but dont know which is best at micromanagement? I played civ 2 when I was little but dont remember much of it.

So....at micromanagement citys which one is the best? or the most complex?

Of Civ1, 2 and 3? Or only 1 and 2?
Civ3 is more advanced on every level.

Civ2 and Civ1 are about the same on the level of city management. If you want the more complex game, go with 2 or 3. If you want the faster, simpler, yet classic and highly enjoyable game, go with 1.

As already mentioned civ1 and civ2 are about the same level of micranagement for cities. However there are many more structures that can be built in a city in civ2. Taking that into account will give you more to micromanage at the same level of complexity. Micromanaging units in civ2 is more complex (fire power, wounded units, settler charges and cooperation, caravan commodities) and there are many more units available.
