CIV 2 TOT !no music!

I click on "music" inside the game, and i get the message "insert civ 2 cd" or whatever the line reads..


but the CIV 2 TOT CD is in the drive. the game runs fine and i do hear the wav files when i smack people around but no music at all.

any suggestions?

Once when installing classic Civ2 it defaulted the cd player volume to 0 on me.Maybe....

CIV 2 GOLD has the music files on the the cd itself.


i scanned thru the CD TOT and there are no music files on it.

Does it download the music to the hard drive?

Why would it then look for the CIV2 CD?

I Still need to figure out what i have to do to get the game to see the CIV 2 TOT CD in the drive.

I see.Sounds like one of those pc problems that made me buy mac.Some config somewhere.

Music stays on the cd.Multimedia is installed(depending on the installation you did)

Most new games require the cd to be in.

You must have a bad cd.
