Civ 3 Error Message While Reinstalling.

After I followed what that guy told me in topic "Scenario Invaild"

I did what he told me to, so i tried to reinstall it, but problem is, it will work for a while, then stops in mid way of installing Civ3, it couldn't be found. That's correct because i probably accident deleted one or more of Civ3 Zips, I didn't know what it was, i was going to clean up my folders after downloading the units from this forum.

Here is snapshots of it. I would like to be fixed. I honsetly have no idea about it. ZIP Folders might be the problem of it.

Then it ended up saying access is denied.

I couldn't find any information specifically relating to Civ3 and this error, but I did find some info on this error and InstallShield (which Civ3Complete uses) here (see also the links on that page for more info). Hopefully that page or one of its links will solve the problem for you - if so, post here so the next person with that problem can find the answer!

Ummm, that guy told me that I had to deleted Registery Entires... How will i fix it without registery entery?

I use an old XT OS (so this is not knowledge) and I think anytime you delete from registry you will have a chance to back up (if only auto back up) so you should look in back ups. You might have to search for "back up" and sort by date.

Well luckily, I only deleted the registry on this User Account. But on other user account, the registery for civ3 remained existed there. So i had second chance.

I will let you know what i've went through it, if none of things works, please help me out, because some of those error, what they explains, confused me sometime...

Go to the directory that holds the file for launching the installation (for example, Setup.exe).

Where is the directory?

Right click on the program and click on 'open containing folder' or 'properties'. I'm guessing.
