civ 3 patch?

is there a civ 3 multiplayer patch? I just have regular civ 3 and no online support. Can i get an update for this?

Yes, you can, but it will cost you. You need to buy Civ3:Conquests in order to get MP. YOu could just get Play The World, but since Conquests includes all of PTW, might as well go whole-hog.
