Civ 3 vs Civ 2 Debate

Hello,

I have just started playing Civ2: ToT (got free) and am very pleased with it. I was even thinking of getting Civ 3, but then I've noticed a lot of posts saying its not as good! Is this true? (I've put this into the Civ2 forum too).

The Civ2 vs. Civ3 debate is the CFC equivalent of those two black holes that are orbiting each other...each relentlessly pulling at the other for millions of years. They will eventually collide brilliantly....when everyone who cares is already dead.
