my civ 4 bts in apps on my windows 10 settings says it is 49.3 GB, though a deeper look that appears to not to be true, I am curious if this the same for any other users? I don't have any mods installed just the ones that came on the installation disk.

No, it isn't remotely near 49.3 GB. I'm not sure what it is but I can guarantee that's wrong. 49.3 GB would be a lot for even a current generation game.
