Civ 4 Bug mod help installing

I am pulling my hair out trying to install this in Steam and/or Gog version on Windows 10. Please help !! Thanks

Don't know about BUG but for BUFFY you need a special patch to make it work on GOG installs as the Mod can't find the installation due to some changes to the install process.

For mods with the Steam version, you need to be on the Beta - original release version. Let me know if you need more info on how to do that.

Otherwise, let us know what errors you are getting. I recommend installing BUG mod (and BULL) in the Custom Assets folder. No need to load the mod and it is compatible with non-modded saves.

Thank you. I had installed BUG, but not Buffy because I missed the detail about the Beta version. More precisely, it appeared to have installed correctly, but would always crash when I loaded a HOF save.
