Civ 4 wont install on Windows 10

on disk 1 says did not install properly. Anyone been able to install on windows 10?

I get error message "cannot open data2.cab ,redundancy check fails"

There was a windows fix a few weeks ago that stopped a lot of old games running. There is a way to reverse it (I found it here and am now reinstalling having de-installed thinking it was a software prob http://myonlinesecurity.co.uk/september-2015-windows-updates-kb3086255-breaks-many-games/)
Unfortunately, both it and the MS web site says there is no way round for Windows 10.
So, new we need Firaxis to come up with a version that works!
