Hi all, new to the site but not new to the game (been playing since the original CIV days!).
I've just started having some severe graphics issues with Civ 5. Currently running on Dx11 and all the terrain graphics seem to have been scrambled. Units, cities and the like are fine but there are red lines, dots, black patches all over the terrain.
(Image attached will make more sense)
All has been fine until recently, i've been quite happy putting up with a bit of judder every now and again with DX11 instead of using DX9. Why don't i go back to DX9? Well thats my second problem... i cannot get DX9 to work.
Game starts ok, you can go through all the menu actions fine but when you get to the loading screen before you start (you know where the guy gives you the schpeel about your leader), all is well until it tries to load any textures and then the game dives out.
If anyone has had the same issues or knows any fixes to either of the above please let me know.
Specs for those in the know:
Dell XPS 630i
Intel Q9450 2.66Ghz
9800GT x2 (SLI)
4GB Ram
Vista 32bit
