Civ 5 under WINE desyncs a lot

The game desyncs a lot when running under wine, regardless who's host. I'm running the whole thing incl. Brave New World.

Somewhat unrelated, when resyncing, the client lost its current build status in a city when just started to build. Happened twice.

When I'm client, the game crashes from time to time.

I did some basic debugging. The basic traffic is very high, I think around the limit. So maybe either the compression fails or some checksum. After a while, the CPU spikes up and the game goes on. I presume that's when civ received all the data. A package dump The spikes happened a few times before, with one at the end of capture.
