I have played for 30 years since its inception. Each new version brought new mechanics, improvements, things left out they we longed for, cheers and jeers.
I think moving on from CIV 6 with the plethora of choices to choose from to see if I could realize a win with a new civ and have many varied encounters has been stifled in this new approach, so far.
I agree with the 3 parts...making the came more digestible and avoiding the end game bog. The part I am struggling with is that I feel I am always up against the same civs every time. No shock or surprise who my neighbours are....ever.
I can appreciate the number that exist overall, and with the knowledge it will increase but when they are broken down to the number to choose from in the first act...it feels repetitive. Same competitors, mostly the same leaders, game after game.
I am really happy that you brought on Sukirtact. Anyone who contributes so well should have been headhunted to add to your team prior to launch.
