Civ Fanatics Web Site crashing with Java Virtual Machine 1.4.1_01

I am using Windows 2000, Internet exploer 6.x and JRE version 1.4.1_01 (sun).

every time I navigate to the Civ fanatics home page I get the following error.

I have not had this problem until recently (I will be upgrading to 1.4.2 JRE this weekend to fix this problem) .

might want to mention this in the computer talk forum too as i doubt it will be the vm version itself.
