i think the bonus will be 1/2 point for every year before 2060 that you didn't have to play since you already won. Basically,

Your score = civscore + .5(2060 - finish date(adjusted for BC of course). I am still not positive on this but that will be along the lines of what I use.
 
Gonzo, in Civ2 GOTM we used turns as the basis on early finishing bonus calculations and not years, simply because the years move unevenly through the game.

So, for example, when, as I wrote above, my SS landed in 1715 in GOTM1, the years were still moving in five years per turn. Earlier it's even more years per turn. Later and it goes to two and then one year per turn. In Civ2 - I don't know about Civ1 - the halfway point of the game, turns-wise, was 1750 if you were playing on Emperor level.

The important thing is to decide now, before people play, as it affects their strategy.

I am still working on the exact formula because I wan't it to be special:) Actually, I have it all worked out. As soon as I get a few more submissions I wil try out the formula. If you are done, be sure to submit promptly.
