CIV II portable...

Hiya

First please forgive my ignorance...I know next to nothing about computers but hoping to tap into the collective knowledge!

Apparently I should get a PDA (?!? I assume its a palm pilot or something...?) for e-mails and SMS's.

Would I be able to run CIV II on this? I told you I have no knowledge of computers! Whats the most portable thing to run CIV II on? Laptops are a bit too bulky for me. Need something little bit smaller but not too small...I dont ask for much! Any help gratefully received. Or even if you want to laugh at me...I can do that too!

I don't know whether you are able to run civ2 programs on PDAs, although I highly doubt it's possible on most PDAs (maybe with win CE?), however, I don't think it'll be an enjoyable experience anyway. I think playing on my laptop is too annoying for me to really enjoy the game, because of the malplacement of keys and the smaller screen.

I may be wrong, but I think it may have been available for Palmtops some years ago, but I can't see it working on a PDA. There are lots of websites selling games for PDA's. It may be worth checking them out. I don't know any specific addresses, but if you search Google you should find something.

I have no idea whether Civ2 for PDA exists (and I don't really know anything about PDA's either), but you could try FreeCiv (it's not quite Civ2, but it's better than nothing)... Have a look at this page:

FreeCiv has been ported to WinCE, for instance.
