Civ in a window

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get out of full screen mode without quitting out of the game in OS 9.2 (or 10.1 for that matter) Every other game I've played seems to have this function. I can't find it in civ3 though.

Boffo,

Cmd-P (Pause) will pause the game and return you to the finder. I don't think that you can have it fully running in the background, though (i.e. finish your turn and switch to another program while the AI moves.)

A hearty thanks to my fellow Brooklynite. I've been banging on esc, all the F keys, cmd-m, etc.

This might be the most important discovery I've made since starting to play Civ3. Not being able to toggle in and out of Civ3 has been a major drag.

If you're in OS X, Cmd-H (for 'hide') does a similar thing: the Civ3 icon is there in your Dock and as a window with a 'Resume' click-button. You can put your mac to sleep and return to the game later, or do other stuff on your computer.
