Civ Install Problem

I don't understand why, but my when I put the second disk in at installation I get the error saying catostrophic failure. I'd really like to play considering I have a few days off, and this was supposed to be my entertainment during then. I have emailed the customer support, but of course no response(maybe because they don't work on sundays?). I'm not sure what to do and I don't feel like going into bestbuy and sharing this problem. The one I went to is more than 45 min away while i was visiting relatives.

I saw this, but after so many problems I don't want to drive an hour and a half round trip to get another defective disk. I just thought with so many problems they may have another answer to this problem. Thank you Neon Deon for the quick reply but are there any other options?

BTW I emailed customer support yesterday, still no reply all day Sunday. Called because I am getting upset, and they were open all day sunday, but closed at 5pm. Not very good at all
