Hi all, as I am trying to recover the source of the theme and ambient music of each civ, I came across this ambient music "Going Home 1/2" for Russia, attempted all possible ways in my mind but got no results. Surely that can't be the masterpiece of Kenny G. Can anyone especially Russian friends help me out?

Here's the link

The composer of the piece is listed in the link you supplied .....

"A secondary cultural theme for Russia. All credit goes to Geoff Knorr, Roland Rizzo, and all other composers and musicians for creating this beautiful score."

That's in fact the standard statement in each link, but I am more interested in the music piece which it's based on... the comment section in the very link suggests that even Peaches Lamb has no idea on the original piece that provides the inspiration.

Being Russian, I have no idea.
Possibly some people song of 19 age.
We badly know our traditional music, alas.
You know, "wearing your blue jeans", all that jazz.

It took me all these years to find out what Korobeneiki was about.
