Well you didn't expect to go to your local game shop and buy it did you? Internet is the easiest way. Its only a 1991 game.

If I was giving out ripped duplicate CDs of Civ 4 and saying it's perfectly legal, would you believe me? Why would you believe that because someone doing something illegal says it isn't illegal makes it anything other than illegal? If I rob a bank and tell the judge "Don't worry. It's legal. They have my money." that isn't going to protect me one bit. Same with abandonware sites. Many of the worst internet scams tell people "don't worry, we're 100% legal because we say so" when in fact it's all lies and people are suckers and idiots.

Very true Alex. It is completely illeagal to donload this game. It is just the same as Civ4. Don't be mean to poor Sid. What if you made this ultra great game that everyone wants to buy but they illegally download it? Think about it for a second and you will see.

Hmmm... Well I went to this site and bought Civ1 for FIVE bucks and I got my product.
GoldBerg knows the link, I believe.
