Civ2Gold, can i play against a PC user ??? HELP!

Hey, i just want to know if this game is Cross PLataform, i play a lot in Game Ranger Vs Mac users, but now i have a LAN in my house with a Mac and a PC, and i want to play Civ2Gold

anyone knows if i can play ?
and what updates should be installed ?
etc..

Hang in there, frunobulax or Henrik should be by to answer your question. I believe they would know; however, I think PBEM is only possible between platforms in Civ2. Hopefully, we get at least this in a "future" PTW port.

Yes civ2 is fully compatible between Mac and PC.You'll need the mac patch V1.1.1(something like that,its here in d/ls collection) and 1.3 patch for the pc version.

Mac's are fully compatible with PCs in MP (both PBEMs and Online MP).

I'm a little suprised you found players on gameranger, last time I checked there where nobody around who played civ 2, and when I actually found someone they dropped out after just a few turns
