Civ3 CD scratched

I was wondering if it was possible for someone to make a copy of the Civ3 cd and send it to me because my cd is scratched and doesnt want to mount or even play anymore (( and I dont want to spend another 55 bucks on something I already paid for... if someone would help me out I will pay 10 US dollars for shipping and the effort

Write Macsoft an email. I have had this problem before (different game/different company) and usually if you ask nice and send the disk back to them they will send you a new one.

I just recieved an e-mail from macsoft stating that they sended me a brand new cd.... now that is what I like to call CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Another thing to do is to make a personal backup copy, as long as this does not violate your software agreement.

I think you can run Civ3 without having any CD dependencies - don't know for sure, but in which case, given you have enough room, you can still used the scratched CD since it will only be used for verification.

...or you can just write MacSoft again ;-)

Well the thing was that the cd didnt wanted to load what so ever.... it would ask me to initialize it (however you write that) so it just didnt recognized the cd.... however with the latest patch I was able to play without the cd but I wanted to re-install my entire HD so I needed a copy of Civ III
