civ3 copyright?

Hi,

I'm not sure I'm on-topic, but I couldn't find a better place to post this question, so my apologizes in advance (please guide me to the correct place if this is not it)..

I want to use some civ3 resources as in here:
http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3/units/

for a completely new game (that doesn't have anything to do with the original civ).
Is that allowed? What is the copyright for those images?

We just had a similar case to this. There is a copy write issue and think you need to contact 2K and/or Firaxis to get permission to use the artwork/units.
