Civ3 Editor Won't Work

I created a map using the Editor, and I changed some of the rules of the game. I went to play the game and my Technology Tree in the game was all messed up. When I clicked on smething I wanted to research it wouldn't show up on screen. Even when I just change the color of the Romans from red to dark red the Technology Screen is weird. It looks like little triangles going from one tech to another instead of the normal arrows. If someone knows how I can change the rules without messing my Tech Tree please let me know. Thanks.

On another note, when you reinstall civ3, make sure to backup your civ3mod.bic file

you said you destroyed it, the easiest way to 'undestroy' it is to reinstall

Besides, only crazy people mess around with the tech tree....

i didnt even change one thing in the research section. only changed rome's colors from red to dark red.

Don't search! It is that. Color changing crash civilization III.

And do not use the civeditor 1.17 unless the hacked exe file. You will obtain an error.
