Civ3 on a modern laptop

I'm looking to get a laptop for a friend who will be using it for web browsing and Civilization 3. Does Civ3 need an actual gaming graphics card, or will a laptop with modern 'integrated graphics' work fine? I suspect Civ3 is old enough that I don't need to worry about graphics on a modern system, but I want to be sure. The version of Civ3 that I have is from the 'complete' package that includes Civ3 and 4 if that makes any difference.

Integrated is fine. Only trick is to avoid netbooks w/vertical resolution less than 768px. Civ3 is only 2d...should be no problem.
