full size image (2 screens)
thumbnail
The top portion of the map is corrupted (gray). This corruption stays with the map area in question when I pan, rather than staying with the portion of the screen.
This appears after running for a short period (5-10 minutes?) with mostly low quality graphic settings and some medium settings.
I have 2 monitors: 1920x1200 and 1600x 1200. Civ is running on the first (left) monitor.
clicking the "default" button on video settings apparently selects all the lowest possible video quality settings. This appears to work around the issue seen.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU & chassis: Lenovo T61p laptop with 8GB DRAM
display adapter: NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M
