I just install Civ5 SDK from Steam, and when I use WorldBuilder, I spot an Error of Display.
My Civ5 language is Traditional Chinese and when I open WorldBuilder, I find the listboxs of "Features" and "Natural Wonders" of tab "Plopper" don't display correctly. It becomes unreadable.
For example, "浮冰", which means Ice in Chinese, it shows as "娴啺", and I can't read it.Tab of "Edit Plot" is also same. On the "Unit" tab, when I create an unit and edit it, its default name shows wrong, too. When I enter an non-English name to it, it become unreadable.
But Resource and Improvements show correctly.
I try to analyze it, and I think it is that UTF-8 text is displayed as Native code page, GBK (or been called cp936, as my Chinese System).
[ 浮 ][ 冰 ] (UTF-8, one Character 3 bytes)
[E6 B5 AE][E5 86 B0]
[E6 B5][AE E5][86 B0]
[ 娴 ][  ][ 啺 ] (cp936, one Character 2 bytes)
What I feel is like when you see "sdjasdasjhdoiqw" instead of "Ice" in WorldBuilder.
I try to use Applocale to change my default code page to Latin-1, but failed. You can change you code page to every language, but not UTF-8.
Terrain, Resource and Improvements show properly, but only Features, Natural Wonders and Unit Name shows wrongly. I think it might be an ignore of programmer.I asked it on SuperUser, and was been told the only one solution is to fix it by producer.
So I hope it could been fixed.
P.S. I switch Civ5 language to Japanese(I can also read a little Japanese), also bug exists. I think this bug will influence every non-English map editor.
