When first playing civ6 I was going closer and closer to the screen trying to figure out which unit is active.
1.) Make the highlighting of the currently selected unit really prominent (or give a configuration option for it)
2.) Bring back the default keyboard shortcut C for centering on the currently selected unit. The key C was used in (I don't know how) many other civ versions. Why stop using it now? It was very handy.
3.) Allow the user to swtich off auto-selection of next unit.
4.) For spies the selection sometimes works very badly. When I got my first spy I thought the game half froze or something because it is so un-intuitive to find the spy and issue its command.
Due to points 1-3 I have made many mis-moves (accidentally moving the wrong unit)
Due to point 4 I quit the game and searched for bug reports related to game turn frozen or similar.
All these points are no big deal if the user knows them and learns to deal with them but the devs could really make it a lot easier for the users here.
