Civilization Conquests Installation

Hey everyone,

I've had Conquests before, played with it for a year or two, uninstalled it, and now I want to play it again, but this happens everytime:

Everytime I reach 98%, it just freezes up, and it says error, as shown above.

So, what I ask is, how do I solve it?

Useful Things To Know

- Civilization 3 IS installed
- I have Adobe Reader 7.0
- I have tried restarting my computer

Update:

I tried going through the Conquests CD, found the file, I opened it, and once it read the file, it said "corrupt cabinet file"

How do I fix that?

Try cleaning the disc, or copying the disc to your hard drive and installing it from there.

Well, I tried what you said, it didn't work.

What I did find out was that my CD-ROM was corrupting the file, so what I did was install it through my CD-RW drive and it installed perfectly.
