Hmm whats going on here...

As soon as I saw the banner for it, it instantly made me think of the Civ line of games, but Im guessing its just a web based close and nothing to do with the Civ team?

The company behind this is called Universal Multiplayer Game Entertainment from the website, with clearly no connection to Take Two, Firaxis, etc.

The name used here is close enough that I would expect a C&D and/or lawsuit threat to be issued very shortly. You can't just make a new word beginning with "civ" (which is protected by copyright) for a similar city/nation building type of game.

EDIT: A little more reading and it appears they ripped off artwork from a variety of other games. The english looks translated (best guesss is this stuff is orginating from a Chinese publisher).

I'd say epic fail but they havn't been sued yet, and it's not as bad as Limbo of the Los (although afaik nothing has happened with that since last summer).

The moment I saw these "hot" babes trying to talk to my hormones and not to my mind I knew it's gonna be a piece of crap on a stick. But hey, enjoy it if you can, I'm gonna play some Gothic3 now, since the Community Patch 1.7 has been finally released, making the game playable

While the costume isn't very sexy (it's not bad, just okay), it's the fleshy fun bags female being behind it.
