there' a cartoon on MTV called Clone High. basically a high school filled with clones of famous people.

The main characters are: Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Ghandi, Cleopatra, and JFK.

Also featured: Ghengis Kahn (with a "Screw Tibet" t-shirt), George Washington Carver, and Elinor Roosevelt (their gym teacher), and twin Elvis clones

the only real funny part is JFK as a big hornball. ghandi plays the typical hyperactive wierdo that ghandi is in cartoons.

Unusual that we could find a place where "civilization" and "MTV" could fit in the same sentence.

I love Clone high, a show I discovered when sleeping in some guys basement 5 hours from home. :)

OOOh expect a few nasty letters from the Indian community:hammer:

Not only for the bad spelling of the name, but also for the "typical hyperactive wierdo comment".:nono:

But hey MTV's never been worried about such piddly things as lawsuits right;)

well it's true. everytime i've seen gandhi (BETTER?????) in a cartoon, they make him the exact opposite of what he was. i suppose it's funny... maybe...

If that's how they do it, I suppose Ted Kennedy is sober, Bill Clinton has declared celabacy, and Tom Daschle is 10 feet tall ;)

And Dubya is a Rhodes scholar, Cheney hates burgers and fries and Rumsfeld loves the UN;)

and cleopatra would be pretty then .
Dude what about a johnny Knoxville clone?
100 guys screaming :"hey im johnny Knoxville welcome to jackass!"
and they 100 all fall then in a water thing or so...

don't worry about it ;) no one would bother with a Knoxville clone
anyway Clone High is a decently funny show but or me it got old and stupid after the first show amazingly  but that don't mean I wont watch it if I see it on T.V. though
figure that one out!

I fail to understand how Abe can take Cleopatra over Joan...she isn't a Jesus Freak as a clone...I don't see the problem.

Much to my amazement, this show is one of the funniest I've seen on TV in a while.

The characters really don't act anything like their alter-ego's, the explanation is that, for the most part, the tremendous pressure of a teenager and following in great destinies has them acting like chariactures of themselves.

Or in Gandhi's case completely abandoning it. He's a classic character that, if the show survives, will probably overshadow the primary focus on Abe Lincoln.

I doubt the show will survive. It is outside the narrow creative realm for the general MTV audience :p.

On another note, this seems to be a number of animated series in the Music TV channel's search for a "Daria" replacement, including such smash-successes as "Undergrads," and one other college show who's name escapes me.

Mission Hill is also a great animated show:

I wouldnt consider Undergrads new though, it was produced in the year 2000 and the makers only created 12 episodes or something.

Daria's gone? Dang I knew I shouldn't have stopped watching that!
Whenever I stop watching something it goes off the air within the season. :(

Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The greatest animated show ever. Argue and you will be slapped!

reruns are on Comedy Central. Great show. Alot of the content was pure genius. It's too bad it was on MTV or it could have worked out.
