CMBO is the best WWII strategy game. Has anyone tried it.

I like making a game where I'm very outnumbered. I ussualy give myself a great definsive position and a couple HMGs

Yes, I've overdosed on playing CM PBEMs . The more recent versions - Combat Mission:Barbarossa to Berlin and Combat Mission:Afrika Korps have better graphics and a better infantry model though.

I've got CM:Barbarossa to Berlin and CM:Afrika Korps. They have to be the greatest tacticle wwII games out there.

never heard of CM: Barbarossa to Berlin

Barbarossa to Berlin covers the war on the Eastern Front, if you go to Battlefront.com 's website you can find more details there. In Europe it was released as Combat Mission 2. I believe in the US it's only available directly from Battlefront.

I have spent quite a few hours on the demo alone.One of the best demos ever put out.MAC version also.Turn based of sorts.

The better your sound setup,the better this game is.
