Come to think of it... My first game...

Was one of my not so n00b games... I mean, that game, I took out America's who army of infantries (to take over their land, offcourse), and I used Calvalry, and later Marines... How I did it? Well, I used artillery and bombers... Yup, things that I dont bother with at all nowadays... Cause I had absolutely terrible resources to work with, all I could build was Calvalry, when I had the tech for tanks... and when I finally got something (rubber) I used marines, cause thats better than calvalry...

Cavalry kicks booty. I like to get it ASAP so I can attack the AIs before they get muskets or rifles. Cavalry vs. spearmen or pikemen is a good match-up most of the time. I wish cavalry could be upgraded later to modern cavalry like some troops with rifles riding in a jeep. That'd be cool.

Cavalry is already pretty powerful so its kind of nice that they cannot be upgraded...

Every unit is powerful in its own time, really... like, the Persian Immortal is the MOST powerful unit during the ancient ages, but even try calling it a powerful unit through out the game... Psh... lol

The Immortal is a unique unit though so its not a typical unit... Also I would rather have the extra movement point than the extra attack point in general.

Indeed, I feel the gallic swordsman is far more dominating, as UUs go, in the Ancient age, rather than the Persian Immortal.

Yep they don't upgrade which is sensible since cavalry still use horses like knights but tanks don't.
