Drewshark, a regular player in the Qsc and Gotm games, has sent me a notice that his wife went into labor on Monday and delivered a fine, healthy new son.

Congratulations are in order for the new CivFanatic in the making.

Now Drew can truly begin to understand the meaning of planning ahead for unforeseen events in Real Life jsut as inside the Civ3world.

--------------
We have several opening in the Carthage warm up games un Regent and Emperor for any players who have Gotm16-Rome well in hand and who woudl like to get in a little bit of warm up practice for Gotm17.

-------------

Congrats to Drew and the mommashark and lil' pup!!!

Drewshark,

Congratulation![party] It also means no more Civ for you.;) Actually, since you are going to stay up all night taking care of the baby anyway, may not be a bad idea to move your computer near the baby room.;)

Congratulations.[party]

I agree with moonsingers comment above. You can always do the midnite feeding while your Romans are marching to victory. :)

Congratulations!

My twins are now 10months old. We spent many an evening "trying to get her to sleep, honey" playing Civ one handed. Curse those shift+hotkeys. PTW looks like it might be easier with the gazillion onscreen buttons for one handed mouse play.:)

Enjoy your little one...and try to get some sleep.

Congratulations on your new settler.

Or is it a worker

:D

My wife is due Mar 6. She's ready to have the baby NOW.

Thank you all for the wonderful wishes!!! I was just checking to see if a replacement was found for me in the Succession game I never started when I spotted this thread,....thank you Cracker! :) Needless to say, Rome has been sitting in DCLXX (570) B.C. and may finish the month there the way it is going. I need to learn more keyboard shortcuts real soon or my "little settler" may bring an end to improving Civ career! Anyway, I want to thank you all again for the warm wishes and I hope I will be able to find a schedule that accomodates fatherhood and Rome.

Congratulations, Drew! I wish you many wonderful latenight civ sessions of one-handed gaming just like controlfreak. Much more importantly, I wish your new addition good health.

congratulations...he'll be running around before you know it, although it will not feel like it... :)
