Looking at the polls so far and assuming that we're still following Shaitan's suggestion as to how to allocate the provinces, I get the feeling I'm going to end up as the "elected" (in the G.W. Bush sense of the word
) governor of at least part of Egypt. There's also talk of possibly moving the palace to Egypt at some point in the future. This is of interest to me since this would logically make Egypt the capital province of which the domestic leader is the constitutional governor. I think it would be wise to set out how the transfer of administration is to be handled before it becomes a burning issue. For example: should the two governors simply swap provinces with the displaced governor taking over the old capital province? should they continue as before until governor re-election time? or should the displaced governor be flung out on his ear and an election be held for the old capital province? IMO this ought to go into the constitution.
