control over turn sequence

I dislike the game deciding for me what unit will be the next one i have to give an order.

I even more dislike the game completing unit's goto moves just whenever it wants to.

If i want to do things in a different order, for example moving a stack of units before doing different things, i now have to scroll back to that stack for every unit again because the game first wants me to move another unit.
Sometimes moving the unit that the game wants me to move either depends on results of other things (like succeeding to conquer a city or not). Or it might simply require some thinking. I want to think by my own thought pattern, not let the AI decide in what order i will have to think about things.

There could be a button to stop the automated unit selection sequence in the turn so that i can order any units that have movement points in any order i want while the screen doesn't move after giving orders to a unit.
For this, it needs to be possible either to have nothing selected at all, or to have a unit selected that has no more movement points (and thus wont take any more orders)

Then, when i think i am done, i could press the button (which could be the same button as the next turn button) and the game starts selecting any units i forgot to move until i turn off the automated sequence again.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I want an option where if I have more than 1 unit in a stack, and I move a unit out, or order it to fortify or perform a task, the game always pops back to that stack instead of to halfway around the world to another unit.

I really like that the game automatically chooses a unit to move. That way I never forget to move any of my units. Thats a good system compared to other turn based games like Heroes, and Rome: Total war, where you easely can forget moving some of your units/fleets!

Well, I often fortify stuff that I mean to move next turn, which means I won't get to move it automatically anyway.

If you read my explanation, i first of all propose it to be an OPTION by adding a button that will simply pause the sequence.

Also did i suggest the game to select any forgotten units with movement remaining after you press the button to resume before ending the turn.
