Converting MP save game to single player savegame

Hi all

A friend and I have been playing a great multiplayer LAN game for some time now. But before the game ended we decided to start a new game because he was to far behind to make any difference in the game.

I would like to continue on our first game in single player to finish it off. I have only been able to find a save game converter for Vanilla and Warlords, but not for BtS.

Anyone know how I can be able to continue on my own on our multiplayer game?

hmmmmm, no one seems to have any input on this.

Let me re-phrase my question: Is there any way I can continue playing a multiplayer game when one of the human players is not joining the game? (by letting the human civ be controlled by the AI or any other way)

I really hope someone has any input on this, as I would really regret to give up this exiting game;-)

hi, i'm not sure this will work but if you and your friend start the game and then he quits the ai should take over (as long as the box was checked in the game set up). good luck.

It worked! It even remembers that the Civ he played is now AI controlled when I save the game and loads it........
