Can anyone tell me how to remove the limit on the number of corporations/corporation headquarters that you can have in one city?

The problem here probably isn't so much that there's a limit, but that corporate HQs that compete with one another can't be co-located in the same city. So if you have Mining, Inc. headquartered in a city, you can't also establish the HQs of Creative Constructions and Civilized Jewelers in that city, too, because they compete with each other for the same resources. I don't think there's an easy way around that.

Do you think that if you changed the resources each uses, so that there wasn't any overlap, that the game would then let you found all the corporations in one city?

I don't see why not. There's no trouble founding non-competing corporations in the same city (e.g., I've had Mining, Inc. and Sid's Sushi headquartered in the same city.)

I believe the easiest method would be to mod each corporation to one specific resource and then have a mega city that has each of these resources.

For instance Coal, Bannanas, Oil, Crabs, etc...

Yeah, I had all the religions and two corporations on OCC, but it wouldn't let me get the others!

Edit: I tried it, and it worked.
