COTM 44 Results and congratulations

In golf, scoring 'below your age' is a very good achievement. I wonder if in G/COTMs we should celebrate getting more entries than the number of the game? We were oh-so-close this month: COTM 44 had 43 entries.

At the top was PaperBeetle, who got gold and the fastest conquest award. In second was Klarius with the fastest domination. Chamnix also chose domination, and won the bronze.

One thing I find interesting is the amount of time it took to complete the game. I struggle to find enough time every month to finish the game because of work, kids, finishing basement, etc. There are several players that submitted victories at 7 hours or less. Rycole2008 completed a domination victory in just over 6 hours in 1660 A.D. Wow! That's a lot of turns that had to involve a large number of units and cities to manage and still complete the game in a short amount of time. I finished in just over 17 hours but was struggling to finish on the last day of the month.

I'm also impressed by the talent of quick players to reduce time without losing too much quality. When I try to spare an hour of my 20 it always costs me 1.000 Jason points...
